Before you ask for a quote, decide

- What your water test shows, such as hardness, TDS, chlorine and pressure.
- Whether your home already has a loop, and whether a deadline applies.
Questions to ask every company
- What exactly is included: system type, size and capacity, pre-filter, drain, bypass, and warranty terms?
- What system do you recommend for my water test results and home size, and why?
- What equipment, plumbing work and electrical or drain work is included, and is it new or repaired?
- Who does the work — your own crew or subcontractors — what is the timeline, and how are testing and startup handled?
- What does the warranty cover, equipment versus workmanship, for how long, does it transfer to a new owner, and what maintenance does it require?
- Is the price a firm written quote for this exact scope, and what would change it?
